Sarajevo (Bosnia&Herzegovina), It (cat.
XVI) 17-27.05.2003
The 33th traditional tournament
in the Bosnia and Herzegovina capitol gathered not especially
prominent players comparing to 1999 and 2000 when Gary Kasparov won
there. This time the world’s elite players Alexei Shirov, Evgeny
Bareev, Rustem Kasimdzhanov, Ivan Sokolov, Sergei Movsesian and
Teimur Radjabov were opposed by the group of players from the former
Yugoslavia – Zdenko Kozhul, Bojan Kuraica, Branko Damljanovic and
Amir Dizdarevic. |
